Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America, is an actress and singer. Bell was raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) and is an RN as well as Tom Bell, a television news director. Her mother is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen was already a skilled performer from a young age. When she was in 1992, she went to her very first audition. She got an appearance on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom as an agent when she was only thirteen years old. Bell was later chosen for the newspaper advertisements and commercials on TV. Bell also began taking acting lessons in private at this time. Bell was credited as a character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and music club in Shrine Catholic High School. When her school staged a production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell was a student at an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. Bell dropped out of her studies in 2001 and assumed the role of Becky who is a character from Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credit with Pootie Tang in 2001. Her scene, however cut, and her only appearance is in the credits at the end. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell made an appearance on her first Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
